The Linzer's were fun to make and easier than I thought they might be. They are, of course, more time consuming than the buttery jam cookies, but they are both delicious. I plan to make another batch of Linzer's later this week to take to a holiday party.
I ended up taking most of the Linzer's to my Sister-in-Law and she loved them. They became more tender once they had sat overnight with the jam in them which was when I liked them better. The only change I made in the recipe was to sub half of the white sugar with brown sugar which gave the cookies a little darker appearance. I used walnuts in the dough and filled the cookies with some good seedless red raspberry jam and did the powdered sugar on top on some.

Your linzers look wonderful.
